Hi everybody,
I recently obtained a Kawasaki Ultra 310 LX.
My first question is : what is the maxi speed of my pwc ?
My second question is : when i put full throttle, my maxi speed is 98 km/h (about 52 mph) and i want to know what can be the problem ?

The 310 was not known for it's top speed, but more for it's eye popping hole shot. To get true speed measurements, you should try using a gps app on your phone.
What rpm is the ski turning at that speed ? Have you looked at the impellers leading edge to see if there is any damage ?

There's no damage. I can't remember the rpm.
But I have 43 hours on my engine. I contacted a dealer and he told me that i should send them for the drain.

I'm assuming that you bought the ski new, and it is a 2015 or 2016 ? Will this be your first oil change ? If so, you need to let them do a post break in service. That way, everything gets checked out. If this is the first oil change, you are over due. It is actually pretty crucial that the post break in oil change be done when recommended. during engine breaking, the internal parts are actually wearing together, especially the rings and cyl walls. This creates a fine metal that is washed away by the oil, but is till suspended in it. Most is trapped by the filter, but some gets by, and some settles in the bottom of the engine and oil tank, though not enough to worry about. It will pretty much get flushed out over use.

Hi I got the same model 310LX from 2015 bought last year with 152hours on it. Has th same issue max speed 101kmh once and most of accelerations was 95-98kmh. Our JetSkis should easily make 108kmh on the speedmeter and it should be about 110-112kmh on gps (was searching all kind of forums for the answer). Did u fix this? I found that mine had 80hours without oil change and the compression test showed me that 1st cylinder has lower compression about 8-8,5bar while the rest 3 cylinders make between 11-11,5bar. What me and my father mechanic think is that old oil causes lot of carbon mass/oil shit inside of the engine what caused the lower power and speed. Accelerating is also not the same as i saw on the videos in the internet. Its accelerating crazy fast from 0-60 and then slowly, also it choked few times while accelerating. Gonna ride few hours on new oil and than will change oil with put in that engine cleaner to take away all the rubish out of the engine. Hope it helps. Supercharger is fine cause if it wasnt than i think it would be impossible to reach about 100kmh. If u solved your problem maybe can u give me any advice ?
